Affiliate groups
Affiliate groups let you create different commission tiers within a single program. This is useful for offering higher rates to top performers, different terms for influencers vs. app developers, or special rates for promotional campaigns.
To create a new affiliate group, go to Affiliates -> Programs in the left-hand navigation bar. Then, select the program associated with your app. This will direct you to the program's settings page. Here, locate the Affiliate Groups section on the right-hand side of the settings panel and click on Add group.
Each group can override the following commission settings from the program defaults:

Commission rate | Percentage of revenue to pay as commission. |
Commission duration | How long commissions are paid, including any end date or time limit. |
Revenue components | Which revenue types to include (subscription, usage, one-time). |
Revenue type | Calculate commissions on gross or net revenue. |
Minimum plan value | Only pay commissions on plans at or above this price. |
Show in marketplace | Whether this group is visible in the Mantle affiliate marketplace. |
Each app is linked to a single affiliate program, but within that program, you have the flexibility to create as many groups as needed.
Commission override hierarchy
Mantle uses a three-tier system for commission rules. When calculating commissions for an affiliate, the system checks for overrides in this order:
Individual affiliate overrides — Custom commission rules set directly on a specific affiliate take the highest priority. Set these in the affiliate's individual program settings.
Group rules — If the affiliate belongs to a group and has no individual override, the group's commission rules apply.
Program defaults — If no individual or group overrides exist, the program-level settings are used.
This hierarchy gives you fine-grained control — set broad rules at the program level, customize for groups, and make exceptions for individual affiliates when needed.
Assets
You have the ability to craft a variety of assets and seamlessly distribute them to your affiliates.
This includes essential promotional materials such as your app's logo, curated social media content, and direct app installation or signup links, all of which can be effortlessly created and shared.
To generate assets, go to Programs, choose your specific program, then head over to the Assets section within the program settings panel and select Add Asset.
From there you can add your asset:
After creating the asset, your affiliates will find it readily available in their portal under the Assets tab within the app's program:
Reviewing sign ups
Should you opt for a selective entry into your affiliate program by enabling the approval requirement, every registration will be queued for your review on the program page.
Accompanying each application, you'll find the options to either Approve or Deny—empowering you to curate your affiliate network.
