While standard public plans form the foundation of your pricing strategy, Mantle gives you powerful tools to create specialized plans for specific scenarios. Whether you're crafting custom solutions for enterprise clients or testing new pricing tiers, you have the flexibility to design plans that meet specific business needs.

Types of specialized plans

Mantle supports several specialized plan types, each serving different business purposes:

1. Custom plans

   • Tailored for specific customers
   • Modified versions of standard plans
   • Special pricing or feature combinations

2. Hidden plans

   • Not publicly visible
   • Used for testing or specific segments
   • Perfect for beta features

Custom plans

Custom plans let you create tailored solutions for specific customers without affecting your public pricing structure. Perfect for:

Creating a custom plan

1. Navigate to Plans in your Mantle dashboard
2. Click Add Plan
3. Select "Custom" as the plan type

4. Configure your plan details:

   • Set custom pricing
   • Select features
   • Define usage limits
   • Add customer-specific terms

Managing custom plans

• Track custom plan performance separately from standard plans
• Monitor usage patterns to inform future pricing strategies

Hidden plans

Hidden plans give you a way to test pricing strategies or create special offers without displaying them publicly. Use them for:

• Creating invite-only tiers

Setting up hidden plans

1. Create a new plan as normal
2. In the visibility settings, select "Hidden"

3. The plan will only be visible to:

   • Your team in Mantle
   • Customers you specifically grant access
   • API calls that include the plan ID

• Use clear internal naming conventions
• Document the purpose of each hidden plan
